Acts – The Church Will Stand

Share:

Synopsis

This sermon series through the book of Acts explores the ongoing work of Jesus through His Church—revealing that the Church is not simply a human institution, but God’s idea, God’s mission, and God’s work in the world. Beginning with a small, devoted group of believers, we see how God uses ordinary people, united in prayer and empowered by the Holy Spirit, to boldly proclaim the gospel and impact communities far beyond their own.

Throughout the series, the early Church serves as both an example and an invitation—calling us to live with the same dependence on God’s power rather than our own strength. As lives are transformed and the message of Jesus spreads, one truth becomes unmistakably clear: what is built by human effort will not last, but what is built by God cannot be stopped.

This series invites us to consider our role in God’s greater story. If the Church is truly sustained by His power and not our own, how does that shape the way we live, serve, and trust Him with what lies ahead?
