SMALL GROUP LEADER RESOURCES
Group Life Philosophy

Click the video for our Group Life Philosophy, which is based around Northwest’s Core Values and Core Questions. As a church, gathering in groups is one part of our church’s discipleship strategy (Worship, Groups, Serve) because we believe we are Better Together by Growing in Christ.

John 13:35
"By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
Small Group Process
Everyone looking for a small group starts at Explore Groups. At this event, we share why and how we do small groups at Northwest, setting everyone up for group success.
From Explore Groups, we either launch people into new groups, or connect them to existing groups. If connecting them to an existing group, we will:
- Reach out to leaders with information about the potential new group member
- Connect the leader and the new person
- They will visit the group and soon everyone will grow in Christ together!
We hope this information is helpful as you engage with people looking for community. We are grateful for all you continue to do as small group leaders.

Church Center
We moved our church database from Fellowship One to a new system called Church Center. We want to help you transition over to the new system as smoothly as possible.
We are so excited for Church Center because it will allow us to better care for and shepherd the people of Northwest, but we can not do that well without your help. Below are some guides to utilize different functions offered by the app.
