Overview
In January 2019, Northwest Bible introduced a new vision: By the year 2026, we will be having thousands of surprisingly easy-to-start conversations about Jesus all over our city because we are convinced, where God has us is where Jesus is.
To introduce this new vision, we took 7 weeks to explore 7 different characters from Scripture whose stories remind us that each one of us has been given a divinely-ordained platform – a place – where God has planted us. We also have a specific and often unique message that God wants us to deliver in the time and place He has chosen. We are God’s vessels for His message and we don’t have to GO someplace new, He already has us where He wants us.
Each one of God’s children is called as a witness for Him, to testify on His behalf—put simply, to tell others who He is, what He has done, and what He is doing in our lives. United in this belief and committed to honoring God’s call, we pray and believe that the Holy Spirit will empower each of us through this declaration: WHERE GOD HAS US IS WHERE JESUS IS.
