4th Grade “True Identity” Series
Description
This February, we’re so excited to lead our 4th graders through a series called True Identity—one of the new events we created as part of our Family Ministry Strategy.
The goal of this class is to discover what the Bible says about who we are as God’s creation. Over the next four weeks, our 4th graders will discuss how:
- We are perfectly made by God
- We were perfectly made male and female
- Sin separates us from God and His perfect design
- We find our true identity in Jesus Christ
This curriculum hints at a few big issues in today’s world: authority, truth, gender (male and female), gender roles, identity, etc. However, our main focus for each lesson is what the Bible says and how God’s Word speaks to the identity of people made in His image.
Kids will go through this class during our regular Sunday morning programming (both the 9 and 10:35 AM services), and will receive handouts and resources to bring home with them as well.
