NCC Math Club

Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of refugee youth? For refugee kids, navigating a new country, culture, and education system can be overwhelming. Many face language barriers, trauma from their experiences, and limited access to educational resources.

By serving as a math tutor, you have a front row seat in helping students achieve academic success. As you spend time with middle school students, you empower and help them establish a pathway to excel both in school and life.

All individuals MUST complete a Northwest Community Center volunteer application. For those 18 years and older, you will receive an email from CheckR to complete a background check after you submit the volunteer application if this is your first time serving with us at the NCC. NO WALK-UPS are permitted without a current background check on file.
